We're heading into the last days of the year (!) and you're probably looking ahead to February and Black History Month - our "Black History Month in the Library" Pinterest board has tons of helpful (and free) resources, display ideas, and programming ideas to help you prepare.

Happy fall! Schools and libraries across the country will observe National Bullying Prevention Month this October, culminating with Unity Day on 10/25. Since 2006, the initiative has helped shift thinking away from bullying as normal childhood experience, and toward the understanding that it is damaging and unacceptable, but can be stopped through education.
